Spark Car Wash Coming to West Nyack

Spark Car Wash, a chain of membership-based car washes, will expand beyond its six New Jersey sites, with its first New York location at a former car wash site in West Nyack. 

The new car wash will be located at 357 Route 59. The 1.41-acre parcel of land zoned for regional shopping (RS) was sold to a Delaware LLC for $2.5 million. Car washes are allowed by special permit in the RS zone.

The car wash site was previously sold for $2.3 million in March 2020. Before that, former Orangetown Supervisor Chris Day purchased the property for $1.4 million in 2016.
