Road Pavement Begins At West Nyack Revitalization Project

This week, construction continues atthe West Nyack revitalization project in downtown West Nyack. Most of the major infrastructure work has already been completed, including utility work and drainage. This week, the Town's contractor will start reconstruction and complete paving of the roads. 

Beginning on Monday, August 11th, road reconstruction work will be performed on the section of West Nyack Road from Western Highway to Klein Avenue. 

Next week, starting on Monday, August 18th, road reconstruction work will be take place on the section of West Nyack Road from 724 West Nyack Road (Nicole's Deli/Zabb Thai) to Strawtown Road. 

Access to those sections of the road will remain open for local residents, emergency vehicles, and to access local businesses. Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area, and all non-local traffic should consider alternate routes or follow posted detours.
