New Sidewalks Coming to Route 45

Major improvements are coming to Route 45 on North Main Street, in front of the Spring Valley Police station.

Crews have been working on the street to install sidewalks on the side where there haven’t been sidewalks until now.

A representative from the town informed Rockland Daily that this is only the beginning of a bigger 3-year project to redo the street. The improvements will include new pedestrian walkways, traffic lights, and electricity poles, and next year the road will be getting repaved as well.
