Weekly Weather: Warm Conditions followed by Cold Front, Likely to Push out Fiona

By: Yaker Biegeleisen

We begin this week with warm temperatures, climbing into the 80’s, with humid conditions.

There’s a chance of rain on Monday night, ahead of a cold front that will come in later in the week.

Wednesday through the end of the week will see much cooler temps—into the low 60’s in the daytime—due to the cold front which will come into our area.

The strength of trough (the cold front system) will likely help us avoid the Tropical Storm Fiona which is now over the Caribbean. The island is bracing for a hurricane, but we may avoid the effects entirely due to the strength of the cold front.
