Weekend Weather: Arctic Cold Front Brings Chilly Temps

By: Yaker Biegeleisen
Coinciding with the second day of fall, we received a cold front straight from the arctic, bringing us cool, fall-like temperatures which are a welcome break from the humidity that we had earlier in the week.
This week remains clear, with no rain in the forecast.
With Daytime temps in the 50s and nighttime temps in the 40s—many Rockland residents will be turning on the heat for the first time this season.
This pattern is expected to hold through Rosh Hashanah.
