Congressman Lawler's Office Closes 6,000th Constituent Case

By Rockland Daily Staff
Last week Congressman Mike Lawler announced a significant milestone for his district offices’ casework team, which closed its 6,000th constituent case. Since he took office in January 2023, his office has helped return more than $27.2 million to residents of New York’s Hudson Valley.
In just the first four months of 2025 alone, Lawler’s office has closed a total of 1,082 cases and brought back $2.65 million for constituents.
“Helping constituents navigate federal agencies is one of the most important parts of our job, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work my team has done,” Congressman Lawler said. “Whether it’s veterans’ benefits, Social Security checks, passports, tax returns, or FEMA assistance, we’ve worked every day to cut through the noise and get real results for folks in the district. This is what public service is all about, being there for people when they need help the most,” Congressman Lawler concluded. “Whether it’s a delayed tax refund, a missing VA benefit, or a stalled immigration case, we fight to make sure our constituents aren’t left behind.”
