Town of Ramapo Announces Updates to Council Room Making it More Zoom-Friendly

In a major development, the Town Board approved an initiative proposed by the IT department to make the Council Room more Zoom-friendly. Multiple voice-activated cameras will be strategically placed to capture the video, sound, and displays for the board members and the public to view. The system's software is from Crestron Electronics and utilizes AI to optimize the scene to be displayed. For instance, if two people are conversing, rather than bouncing back and forth between the two, it will split the screen and display both.

The Town of Ramapo plans further updates once the installation of the new technology improvements begins.
