Senator Bill Weber Presents Yoffee Coffee With Empire Award
By Rockland Daily Staff
Yesterday afternoon, on National Coffee Day, Senator Weber presented Yoffee Coffee in Chestnut Ridge with a New York State Empire Award. He was joined by Rockland County Legislator Joel Friedman, Chestnut Ridge Mayor Sam Presti, Deputy Mayor Chaim Rose and Trustee Shmuli Fromovitz.
The award was presented to the owner of Yoffee Coffee, Sendy Gluck, in recognition of his contributions and dedication to the community. Yoffee Coffee often gives discounts to local organization and provides free meals to customers who can't afford to pay. In addition, at the end of every day all leftover food gets donated to a local non-profit organization that feeds locals who can't afford to buy food.
"It was a pleasure to present Yoffee Coffee with a New York State Empire Award on National Coffee Day. Small businesses like Yoffee Coffee are vital to our local economy, and I'm proud to celebrate their success," Senator Bill Weber said. "This is the second location they've opened in the 38th Senate District. A special thank you to the Chestnut Ridge officials and Legislator Joel Friedman for joining me at the award ceremony."
