Famous Monsey Doctor and Hatzalah Member Makes a Kiddush Hashem in the Skies

By Y.M. Lowy
A powerful Kiddush Hashem took place on a flight from New York to Fort Lauderdale when a Jewish doctor and famous Monsey Hatzalah member stepped in to save a passenger’s life midair.
When an emergency unfolded on board, Dr. Mark Schuster of Monsey Urgent Care quickly responded, providing medical care that stabilized the patient. Thanks to his swift intervention, the passenger’s life was saved.
Following the incident, the flight crew publicly thanked Dr. Schuster over the loudspeaker, acknowledging his lifesaving efforts. His efforts were a true display of a Kiddush Hashem.
This wasn't the first time Dr. Schuster had saved lives. Last winter, when a boy ran onto Suzanne Lake and became trapped under the ice, Dr. Schuster, from the first on scene, was instrumental in rescuing the child from the frigid water. His actions exemplify selflessness, readily helping those in need.
