Congressman Lawler Meets with Askonim from Avosainu

Avosaisnu is an organization dedicated to preserving cemeteries in Europe, where many American citizens have relatives who were buried there over the centuries.

Some of the organization's work entails cleanup of the cemeteries, erecting fences, and restoring matzeivos that can be found in the cemetery. 

Recently, Avosainu experienced challenges in some of its work in Poland, and they met with Congressman Mike Lawler—who serves on the influential Foreign Affairs Committee—at his offices in Washington D.C. 

The Congressman listened intently to the issues and pledged to do everything he can to help resolve the issues, enabling the organization to continue its important work.
