Chase Latest Organization to Restrict Use Of ChatGPT by Staff

JPMorgan Chase joins a growing list of organizations restricting the use of ChatGPT in the workplace, following close on the heels of Amazon and several universities that have banned the artificial intelligence chatbot given cheating concerns,
The ban was instituted as part of the company’s normal controls around third-party software and applies to staff across various divisions. The limitation was driven by concerns of sensitive financial information being shared with the chatbot as this could potentially lead to regulatory action.
Last month, Amazon put out a warning to employees against sharing confidential information with the OpenAI chatbot after Amazon found examples of ChatGPT responses that seemed to reflect internal Amazon data.
