Two Enormous Jackpots Being Drawn This Week

This week will see the potential for not one but two major jackpot winners in the Powerball and Mega Millions drawings, which rose to $865 million and $1.1 billion, respectively. 

If there is a winner in the Powerball drawing, it would be the fifth largest in the game’s history. According to Powerball, the winner would have the option of receiving an estimated $865 million in annual payments or a lump sum of $416.1 million before taxes. 

The Mega Millions prize ranks as the 8th largest in U.S. history.
