HISTORY TO BE MADE: Skverer Rebbe to Spend Shabbos in Bethel, Inaugurating New Shtetl

This afternoon it was announced that the Skverer Rebbe Shlita will spend a historic Shabbos in the newly-established Skverer kehillah in Bethell, upstate New York.

The Shabbos will take place on Shabbos parashas Re’eh, at the end of this upcoming summer, and will serve as an inauguration for the new kehillah that is being established in the upstate hamlet. 

Hundreds of Skverer families are preparing to make the move to the Catskills, and construction of homes, shuls, and institutions for this new outpost of Torah and chassidus has been proceeding at a feverish pace for close to two years. 

The rebbe will spend an intimate Shabbos exclusively with residents of the new kehillah, leaving behind his blessings for its success and growth for many years to come.
