Tragic Passing of Mrs. Leah Chaya Esther Weiss A"H

The Monsey community is in mourning following the sudden passing of Mrs. Leah Chaya Esther Weiss, daughter of R' Yitzchak Shimon Estreicher.

The nifteres, a healthy young mother in her low 50s, tragically passed away this afternoon after suffering a sudden medical emergency due to an aneurysm, r”l. Despite rescue efforts, she did not survive.

She was the wife of R’ Yechezkel Shraga and the daughter of R’ Yitzchak Shimon Estreicher, who serves as the Rosh Hakahal of Skver in Jerusalem and is well known as a respected figure in the community. They lived in Monsey for many years, and recently moved to Boro Park.

The levaya will take place tonight 12am at the Yampale Shul and then at the funeral home in New Square, where she will be laid to rest.
