Traffic Delays Expected at CSX Railroad Crossing During Refurbishment Operation in West Haverstraw

Starting Monday, August 14, and continuing through to Friday, August 18, CSX will be working to refurbish the railroad crossing at Railroad Avenue in West Haverstraw. 

Drivers can expect traffic delays and detours due to the work during the four-day period. Suggested detours for cars and buses traveling east, headed to the Hudson River, is via Wayne Avenue. Cars and buses traveling west from Pecks Pond and Beach Road should use Tanneyanns Llane. The suggested truck route is via Wayne Ave.
