Town of Ramapo's Free Chol Hamoed Extravaganza Event Adds to Simchos Yom Tov for Thousands
by M.C. Millman
The Town of Ramapo hosted a free Chol Hamoed Extravaganza event for Town of Ramapo residents on the first day of Chol Hamoed at Manny Weldler Park on West Maple Avenue in Monsey.
The all-day event included activities such as a Joust Battle, a Balloon Blast, a laser dome, an obstacle course, giant slides, a bounce house, and more. The extravaganza boasted a spacious sukkah on-site with many kosher food options.
"I was honored that the Town was able to provide a fun family event yesterday at Weldler Park," Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht shares with Rockland Daily. "Thousands of residents brought their families to enjoy a wholesome, fun-filled day of activities in our beautiful park. We are looking forward to planning the next event."

Attendees parked at Rockland Community College, a short distance away from the park, and were then bused to and from the park to attend the event, as there was no on-site parking available.
