Suffern Police to Host Community Gun Buyback Event

This afternoon, October 15, the Suffern Police Department, in collaboration with the Rockland County Sheriff's Office, will hold a Community Gun Buyback event.
Residents can safely turn in firearms at the Leo L. Lydon Building, located at 118 Yorkshire Drive in Suffern, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Guidelines for the safe transport of firearms and information on payment for surrendered weapons can be found on the event flyer. This initiative aims to promote safety and reduce illegal gun possession in the community.
