Rockland County EMS Week Events

In honor of the 50th anniversary of EMS Week, a week to show gratitude to EMTs and paramedics who provide lifesaving care for our communities, Rockland County Executive Ed Day and County EMS Coordinator Desiree Leone-Stoll are inviting the public to events in celebration of our first responders. 

The EMS Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 19, 4:00 pm, at the Rockland County Fire Training Center, 35 Firemen’s Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY, where the county will recognize several providers for their outstanding work.

Before the awards ceremony, at 12:00pm, there will also be a Youth EMS Competition for youth squads to compete in EMS skills.
