Flash Flood Warning In Effect For Rockland County

A flash flood warning is in effect for parts of New York and the tri-state area as moderate to heavy rain later today might cause severe flooding.
Thunderstorms are expected to develop across the eastern and southern parts of New York this afternoon, bringing 1-3 inches of rainfall. Some of the heaviest rain is expected during the afternoon rush hour, and commuters are urged to plan ahead to avoid the worst of the storm.
