Monsey Fire Department Expands

The Monsey Fire Department is extending the bays where the fire trucks are parked in order to accommodate two new fire trucks.

The first firetruck has already arrived and will be ready for service within the next month. The second fire truck is due to arrive sometime near the end of next year.

The two new emergency vehicles are taller than those presently in service; therefore, the bays are being raised by two feet to accommodate the extra height to park them inside safely.
