Driver Flees Scene After Crashing Into Home

Last night at around 1:40 a.m., a van crashed into an occupied home on 8 Andrew Drive in the Village of Chestnut Ridge. 

The driver fled the scene in his van, leaving behind his front bumper and license plate. Although the house sustained damage from the impact in the front corner of the garage, the home's occupants were not injured. 

The investigation is ongoing.
