Clarkstown Police Department Offers Free Car Seat Check

The Clarkstown Police Department is offering free car seat checks and installations - by appointment only. 

According to the CDC - car seat use reduces the risk for injury in crashes by 71–82% for children, compared with seat belt use alone. But the risk is only mitigated if the car seat is installed properly. 

The next date for a car seat check is this Sunday, November 20, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The check will take place at the Nanuet Fire Department Substation located at 11 Renee Lane in Bardonia.
