ORIGINAL ARTICLE 8/14:
In light of the recent announcement that the Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Rebbe, shlita, will be returning to Eretz Yisroel immediately after Shabbos Nachamu, it has been confirmed that the Rebbe will unfortunately miss his grandson’s wedding in Monsey, which was scheduled for next week.
As reported on Rockland Daily, the wedding, for the Chosson, a son of the Rebbe's late son, Harav Arye Leibish Teitelbaum, Hy"d, who was tragically killed in the Mumbai attack in 2008, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 21 Av, at Tiferes Elka.
This decision follows the Rebbe's weakened condition and the doctors' recommendation for him to return home right after Shabbos. As a result, a planned fundraising campaign set for next week has been launched tonight and will continue tomorrow, with Chasidim eagerly participating despite the Rebbe's absence.
