Chabad of Suffern Holds Mega Challah Bake

Last week, two hundred and fifty women gathered at the Crowne Plaza for a mega challah bake event offered by Chabad of Suffern. 

The memorable evening included more than mixing dough and braiding exotic loaves. It was also a night for celebrating the joyous love, faith, and achdus of Jewish women.

The evening's roster of events included Chava Morgenstern's rousing rendition of Avinu Malkeinu; warm words from the evening's sponsor, heartrending first-person accounts from young Ukrainian refugees; Rebbetzin Rivky's heartbreaking and inspiring speech about her struggle with cancer, Covid, and then the Ukrainian war.

The evening culminated with lively dancing providing something for everyone while adding inspiration to the upcoming Yomim Tovim.
