Arrest Made in Armed Taxi Robbery in New Hempstead

Two suspects were arrested last week by the Ramapo Police Department with the assistance of the Spring Valley Police Department after allegedly conducting an armed taxi robbery that took place in New Hempstead. 

The two suspects, aged 19 and 33, are both from Spring Valley. The pair was charged with first and second-degree robbery. They also received weapons and assault charges and are being held on $25,000 bail.
