Weekly Weather: Heavy Rain Before Sun Comes Out Later in the Week

Sunday will be quiet before the storm, with highs in the low 50s and light rain after 11 a.m. 

Rain will become heavier by Sunday night, with thunderstorms possible after 2 a.m. and temperatures rising to 55 degrees overnight. 

The storm is expected to bring 1.5-3.5 inches of rain and winds sustained at 10-25 mph with gusts of 40-50 mph with the possibility of downed tree limbs and power outages. The wind and rain are expected to linger through late afternoon Monday, which will see highs in the upper fifties. 

Tuesday will see continued rain, with temperatures dropping to 32 degrees, making it the coldest day of the week. 

Wednesday will be sunny, with a high of  37 degrees. 

 Thursday and Friday will be sunny, with a high of 45 degrees.
