Town Of Ramapo Hosts Public Open House

Last week the Town Of Ramapo hosted a Public Open House where local residents were able to propose ideas and provide feedback for a Monsey, Hillcrest, and Western Ramapo Comprehensive Plan Update. 

The Comprehensive Plan is a detailed roadmap for the many aspects that make up Ramapo, such as housing, transportation, infrastructure, and more. The plan was last updated in 2004, and is now being updated to deal with the many challenges that have come up since then and to ensure that the town continues growing and thriving. 

The Open House allowed residents to give their feedback and bring up challenges and issues that they deal with on a daily basis around Ramapo. Large boards were set up and residents were able to put sticky notes with their suggestions on how to improve the town and their vision for a better Ramapo. 

The town vowed to take the suggestions into consideration as they continue to develop the updated Comprehensive Plan.
