After the Spring Valley Mayor Simon arranged for the firing of the Spring Valley High School School Resource Officer, as reported by Rockland Daily here, the ERCSD board announced at last night's meeting that Quacy Evelyn was reinstated to his position as of this morning.

Spring Valley High School students who protested Evelyn's firing were also praised for standing up for justice during the board meeting.
