Senator Bill Weber Kicks Off Countywide Blood Drive Competition

This morning, Senator Bill Weber officially launched the countywide blood drive competition aimed at boosting donations across the five towns.
The kickoff event was held at the Finkelstein Library, where Senator Weber demonstrated his commitment by being the first to donate blood. Town Supervisor Michael Specht also attended, expressing his support for the initiative and highlighting its importance.
In a show of community spirit, the Town of Ramapo is offering its employees two hours off to participate in the blood drive. Additionally, the Red Cross is giving away $20.00 gift cards to donors as a thank-you for their contributions.
The competition’s top participant will be awarded a specially designed blood drive medal crafted specifically for this event.
