Rockland Responds: Village of Spring Valley Trustee Sruly Eisenbach and Town of Ramapo Michael Supervisor Respond to Repaving Request

Hi,

Part of Twin Avenue, the part closer to Union Road in Spring Valley, is in bad shape. The Village of Spring Valley claims it is not under them. Therefore, they are not repaving it.

Can Rockland Daily find out under which jurisdiction this part of the road is? And ask them to pretty please repave it?

Thank you.

Driven Mad

Dear Driven,

The part of the road that Spring Valley is responsible for, from Franka to Maple Avenue, is well maintained. From Franka to Elm/Union Road, where the road needs repaving, is under the Town of Ramapo.

Sruly Eisenbach

Village of Spring Valley Trustee

Dear Driven,

Highway Superintendent Brinn is currently evaluating the area. There has been a lot of construction on Twin, and they generally wait until construction stops or slows down, so the repaired roadway doesn't have to be disrupted again.

Michael Specht

Town of Ramapo Supervisor
