Rockland Responds: Ramapo Superintendent of Highways Fred Brinn Comments on Dangerous Curve in New Hempstead

Hi,

There is a dangerous curve on Union Road between Brockton and Michael Street, and there has been the cause of a number of accidents coming from both directions over this winter and in past years as well. Whenever there is ice on the road, cars take the curve too fast and end up going off the road as pictured. Is there anything that can be done there?

Any additional signage would need to be approved by the Village of New Hempstead.
