Rockland Green Is Open for Leaf Drop-Off

With the fall leaf cleanup season in full swing, Rockland Green, Rockland County’s Solid Waste Management Authority is accepting residential drop-offs of yard waste at the Clarkstown Yard Waste Facility. 

The residential drop-off is located at the Clarkstown Yard Waste Facility at 166 South Route 303. It is open to all Rockland County residents in non-commercial vehicles only.

Acceptable yard waste, through November 30, is brush, grass, and leaves. All waste needs to be separated and dumped in the designated container. No plastic bags are allowed.

Drop-off hours are:

  • Monday - Friday 
  • 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

The facility also holds other events, including SHARPS collection days, medication take-back days, shredding events, Rockland Cafe, and a food scrap recycling program.
