Rockland Daily Tours Rockland County's Radio Headquarters

Rockland Daily was invited to attend a follow-up countywide dispatch meeting last week at Rockland County's radio control headquarters and to tour the radio headquarters facility.

The meeting was attended by many Town officials and agencies, including Spring Hill Ambulance, Faist Ambulance, and Rockland Paramedic Services, who met with the staff of 44-Control for the second time to work on the transition and discuss upcoming improvements and changes to the countywide dispatch system, as previously reported by Rockland Daily here. 

The meeting took place at the  Rockland County Fire And Emergency - 44 Control Training Center in Pomona.

The improvements in the dispatch system are expected to begin in July.
