The meeting will be done in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services; and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and will include low-cost ways to protect your home from flooding, current and future risks for the County, how to understand FEMA flood maps and reports; a homeowners' guide to retrofitting, and climate variability observations.
Rockland residents can attend online here or in person at St. Thomas Aquinas College at 1125 NY0340 Sparkill in room 103 Costello Hall on Thursday, March 23, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
