Quick Response by Ershte Hilf Saves Home from Fire

This afternoon, a quick response from Ersthe Hilf saved a house structure from going up in flames.

It happened when a New Square resident burned their challah this afternoon in a pan outside, but unwittingly disposed of it before the fire was extinguished. 

The fire quickly caught onto the shingles of a roof and began to spread. 

Residents of nearby homes quickly called Ershte Hilf about a house fire. Units responded to the scene quickly, extinguishing the blaze and saving the home from a much bigger catastrophe.
