Police Pursuit Ends with Arrest in Rockland County

In a dramatic turn of events, multiple police units were involved in a pursuit of a vehicle coming off the Palisades Parkway into Rockland County.
The chase began after the suspect allegedly stole from a Home Depot store. The pursuit led to the collision of a police vehicle on the Palisades Parkway before the suspect exited at Exit 11. The chase continued at 20 MPH, until it reached its conclusion.
The suspect was apprehended at Route 202 near Old Route 202 with the help of the LPR system. Law enforcement officials have taken the suspect into custody, bringing the situation to a safe end.
Law enforcement officials from several agencies, including NY State Police, Ramapo Police, Clarkstown Police, Rockland Sheriff, Haverstraw Police, and Orangeburg Police, were involved in the chase and the subsequent arrest.
