Rockland County bid farewell to two dedicated public servants, Joseph “J.D.” Delucia, who served 26 years, and Neil Armida, who served 31 years, as they both retired from the Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Louis Falco, Chief Adam Feuer, fellow radio operators, and numerous colleagues gathered to celebrate the careers of Delucia and Armida, who served as Radio Operator I and II. Members of the New York State Police (Troop F/Haverstraw) and New York State Park Police (Palisades Zone/Bear Mountain) also joined in the sendoff.
The event was filled with appreciation and warm wishes as friends and fellow officers expressed gratitude for the retirees' years of dedication to public safety.
