Monsey Residents Witness Historic Breslov Shul Demolition to Make Way for New, Expansive Facility

By Rockland Daily Staff
The historic Breslov shul at 70 Main Street in Monsey, a home for the Breslov community for nearly 50 years, is currently being demolished to make way for a larger, modern facility.
Established in the early days of Monsey's development, the shul has been a center of Tefliah and learning. Its replacement aims to accommodate the growing Breslov community, continuing the legacy of its humble beginnings.
During the construction period, the Kehila has relocated to a temporary site on Elyon Road, ensuring that their Torah and Tefilos continue uninterrupted until the new building is completed.
At the same time, a Hanuchas Even Hapinah event was announced for this coming Sunday on the lot of the Shul at 70 Main St.
