Major Snowstorm Expected in New York This Weekend

The New York area is bracing for a potential large snow storm this Shabbos into Sunday. 

“A late-weekend storm could get interesting. A general lack of cold air casts some doubt on noteworthy snowfall, but we’ll have to watch this one,” said a tweet from New York Metro Weather. 

The last time an inch of snow accumulated on the ground in New York City from a single storm was in February of 2022, nearly two years ago—so this storm is gaining attention. 

As noted, the exact precipitation remains to be seen, but the public is urged to prepare for the storm and stay indoors when possible.
