ERCSD Passes $331 Million Budget on Revote

East Ramapo Central School District budget passed on the second try after being rejected by voters in May, as reported by Rockland Daily here.
According to unofficial results posted by the school board late last night, the revote was passed by a little over thirteen percent of the voters, as 1,245 voted for the newly reworked budget, while 1,082 voted against it.
The revised budget will increase the tax levy by 1%. It will allow the ERCSD to spend $331 million and require tapping reserve funds.
