President Trump Delivers Commencement Speech At West Point

This past Saturday, President Trump delivered the commencement speech at West Point, the U.S. Military Academy. Many local residents noticed the military aircraft flying overhead as Trump and his security were transported to the college.
For nearly an hour Trump spoke about removing D.E.I policies from the military, the strength of the U.S. army, and congratulated the graduates.
“Every cadet on the field before me should savor this morning because this is a day you will never, ever forget,” Trump said while addressing the more than 1,000 cadets. “In a few moments, you will become graduates of the most elite and storied military academy in human history, and you will become officers in the greatest and most powerful Army the world has ever known.”
Of course, Trump couldn’t go without slipping in a few Trump-y remarks while speaking about the investments that are being made for the military.
“And we are buying you new airplanes, brand-new, beautiful planes, redesigned planes, brand-new planes, totally stealth planes. I hope they’re stealth. I don’t know, that whole stealth thing, I’m sorta wondering. You mean if we shape a wing this way, they don’t see it, but the other way they see it? I’m not so sure.”
