Driver in Tragic DWI Charged and Held on $750K Cash Bail

An investigation into the horrific accident on Old Nyack Turnpike which claimed the life of 4-year-old Goldy Eisenbach and injured three others, revealed that 41-year old Axel Lopez-Santiago was likely under driving under the influence.
Those attending the court hearing were shocked to learn that Lopez-Santiago had already been arrested for DWI in 2018.
He was arraigned at 2:00 Sunday afternoon at the Spring Valley Justice Court in front of Judge Mellion on a number of charges related to this incident. He was ordered held on $750,000 cash bail.

As we have reported, Goldy Eisenbach was the daughter of a local Spring Valley trustee. Her levaya was held early today in New Square with the participation of the Rebbe Shlita and many mourning chassidim.
