YS GOLD

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Avrohom Dovid Wagshchal, a longtime Monsey resident. He was 59 years of age, and was tragically niftar in a sudden manner on Shabbos afternoon.

The niftar is remembered as a deeply refined and ehrlich person.

As a young man, he was a beloved Rebbi in the Satmar cheder on Throop Avenue in Williamsburg. Even after he left the yeshiva, he remained engaged in the Chinuch field—and he is remembered with nostalgia by all the talmidim from that time.

He went to work in the publishing business, and was the owner of Kaftor Vaferach publishing house where he was responsible for many beautiful judaica projects.

He was a beloved member of the Satmar community in Monsey and he was known for his ehrlichkeit and his commitment to his important trade.

On Shabbos morning, Reb Avrohom Dovid learned and davened as usual, and he collapsed suddenly on Shabbos afternoon in his home. He was tragically niftar shortly thereafter.

The niftar leaves behind beautiful generations as he ascends to the World of Truth.

The levaya took place in Monsey on motzei Shabbos and Kevurah will be in Eretz Yisroel.

Yehi zichro baruch.
