Weekly Weather: Stormy Start to Week

A flood watch is in effect for the entire tri-state region starting this afternoon and stretching through Monday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Heavy rain and high winds are expected, with unseasonably high temperatures of 55 degrees and the possibility of power outages. Overnight, there will be fog with rainfall of two to four inches in a twelve-hour period and wind gusts of up to 28 mph. Drivers are advised to watch out for flooded roadways and downed trees or avoid travel if possible.
Monday's temperatures will fall into the mid-thirties as rain continues through the morning and wind picks up to 36 mph.
Tuesday will be sunny and in the low forties, while Wednesday and Thursday will drop a few degrees under clear skies.
Clouds move in again on Friday, but no precipitation is expected.
