Visit Nyack Recognized With an Excellence Award

The New York State Tourism Industry Association announced their 2023 NYS Tourism Excellence Awards last week, with Visit Nyack among one of the recipients. 

Visit Nyack, Inc is a non-profit organization that promotes the Village of Nyack as an attractive tourist destination in the tri-state area. The organization received an award for "Excellence in Tourism Marketing Campaigns, Projects & Programs: Public Relations Campaign."

“Through creative advertising campaigns, Visit Nyack, Inc. works to enhance visitors’ experiences by providing information, resources and trip-planning itineraries that inspire travel and enhance economic growth in both Nyack and Rockland County,” said Rockland County Economic Development & Tourism Director Lucy Redzeposki.

"The outstanding work of New York State's tourism professionals contributed significantly to the post-COVID resurgence of New York State's tourism industry,” remarked Kelly Cutin, Board Chair of the New York State Tourism Industry Association. “The efforts of both the 2023 New York State Tourism Excellence Award nominees and recipients epitomize the concept of best practice destination marketing, management and stewardship. My admiration and congratulations to all!"

Award recipients will be honored at a special ceremony on September 14, 2023, in Rochester at the Strong National Museum of Play.
