Traffic Alert: Palisades Southbound Road Work

Next week, the New York State Department of Transportation has scheduled catch basin repair work on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway, which will close exit ramps 11 and 14.

Traffic will be detoured to the next exit ramp in the southbound direction and directed to get back on the northbound Palisades and use the exit ramp in that direction.

Exit 11 southbound will be closed on Monday, October 2, with a rain date of Tuesday, October 3. The posted detour will guide drivers to get off at exit 10, get back onto the northbound Palisades, and get off northbound Exit 11.

The Palisades southbound exit 14 will be closed on Wednesday, October 4, with a potential rain date of Thursday, October 5. The posted detour will guide drivers to get off at exit 13, get back onto the northbound Palisades, and get off at exit 14 northbound.

Only the southbound exit ramps for exits 11 and 14 will be closed. The southbound entrance ramps at exits 11 and 14 will remain open during this work.

Detours will be posted, and electric message boards will be activated to provide the date and time of closures and exit ramp detour information.
