Sanzer Beis Medrash Demolished to Make Way for Magnificent Edifice

On Tuesday, excavation crews were on the site of the Sanzer Beis Medrash, demolishing the existing structure, which had become too small to accommodate the Chassidim who daven there—making way for the construction of a large new beis medrash.
A few weeks ago, the Sanzer rov of America was in New York for one of his visits to the kehillah, and a million dollars was raised for this effort on that occasion by members of the kehillah alone to be able to commence the work.
In the interim time, the kehillah will be davening in the Satmar Yeshiva K’tana on Maple Lane as the construction work continues at a steady pace.
