Rockland Welcomes 45 New EMT Graduates

Forty-five new EMTs graduated from Rockland County's EMT Training Course yesterday, Sunday, August 12.
The course began in May and included 200 hours of training.
New York State Senator Bill Weber, Clarkstown Supervios George Hoemann, and Stony Point Supervisor Jim Monaghan were among the many on hand to congratulate the graduates.
"I'm honored to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all 45 graduates of the Rockland County EMT Summer 2024 class," New York State Senator Bill Weber shares with Rockland Daily. "It was a pleasure to be at the graduation and celebrate this remarkable achievement. We owe first responders our deepest gratitude!"
"Congratulations to the County's 45 new EMT graduates," Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht says. "This addition of new EMTs will greatly benefit the County and we look forward to some of the graduates joining our EMS corps within Ramapo. We are proud of all of our EMS and fire department volunteers and appreciate their life-saving work."
