Rockland Responds: Village of New Hempstead Responds to Overgrown Path Concern
Dear Rockland Daily,
I live near a relatively busy road that has a very narrow asphalt path on the side of the road. The path is completely overgrown with bushes (and poison ivy in the summer). The pictures are of the path on Union Road, between Viola Road and Michael Street between Michael Street and 615 Union. Can you help us regain our path so that we don't have to veer off the path and into the street, which is especially dangerous for those of us with strollers or/and small children?
Thank you,
New Hempstead Resident
Dear New Hempstead Resident,
A request was put in with the highway department to have it cut back.
All the best,
Allison Weinraub
