A major Siyum Hashas is set to take place next Sunday at Rockland Community College in Monsey, marking the completion of a 12-year cycle of learning by the Toiraschu Sha’ashuai chaburah of the Satmar Kehila. Organizers expect a large turnout and are preparing accordingly for the significance of the occasion.
Thousands of participants are expected to attend the event, which will honor those who completed the entire Shas through the chaburah’s structured daily learning program. Many more have now joined to begin the next cycle, which will officially launch at this gathering.
In the weeks leading up to the Siyum, hundreds of personal and local siyumim have been held across Monsey and beyond. Designated entrance passes, will be provided with special recognition given to the lomdim who commit their days and nights to Torah.
And once again, Monsey will host a grand Kehila event and celebration, as its central location between Kiryas Yoel, Williamsburg, and Boro Park makes it ideal for ensuring broad participation in honoring the Torah and providing chizuk to all Lomdim.
